புகாரின் பேரில் போலீசார் சிறுவனை தேடிவந்த நிலையில், தாம்பரம் பகுதியில் சிறுவன் இருப்பதாக செல்போன் சிக்னல் காட்டியது. இதையடுத்து அங்கு சென்ற தனிப்படை போலீசார் 24 மணி நேரத்திற்குள் சிறுவனை மீட்டு பணம் மற்றும் நகையை கைப்பற்றி பெற்றோரிடம் கொடுத்து சிறுவனை கண்டித்து வீட்டிற்கு அனுப்பினார்.
