சிவகங்கை: நாய் குறுக்கே வந்ததால் நிலைதடுமாறி கவிழ்ந்த கார்: 17வயது சிறுமி உள்பட இருவர் பலி-Car overturns after dog comes across: Two killed, including 17-year-old girl

சிவகங்கை மாவட்டம் மானாமதுரை அருகே கார் நிலைதடுமாறி கவிழ்ந்து இளம் பெண் உள்பட இருவர் உயிரிழந்தனர். 8 பேர் காயமடைந்தனர், கோயிலுக்கு சாமி கும்பிட சென்ற போது இந்த விபத்து சம்பவம் நடந்தது.

மானாமதுரை அருகே தெற்குச்சந்தனூர், டி.நெடுங்குளம் கிராமங்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் கோவையில் தனித்தனி குடும்பங்களாக வசித்து வருகின்றனர். கோவையில் தனித்தனியாக ஹோட்டல் வைத்து நடத்துகின்றனர். இந் நிலையில், அவர்கள் தங்களது குடும்பத்தினருடன் காரில் சொந்த கிராமங்களான தெற்குசந்தனூர், நெடுங்குளம் கிராமங்களுக்கு வந்தனர்.

அதன் பின்னர் காரில் அங்கிருந்து இளையான்குடி அருகேயுள்ள தாயமங்கலம் முத்துமாரியம்மன் கோயிலுக்கு சாமி கும்பிடச் சென்றனர். மானாமதுரை அருகே மாங்குளம் விலக்குப் பகுதியில் சென்ற போது சாலையின் குறுக்கே நாய் வந்ததால் கார் நிலைதடுமாறி கவிழ்ந்து சாலையோரத்தில் இருந்த கால்வாய் பாலத்தில் மோதி நின்றது.

இந்த விபத்தில் காரில் இருந்த கோவை சேரன்மாநகரைச் சேர்ந்த அய்யப்பன் மகள் ஆர்த்தி(17) சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே உயிரிழந்தார். மேலும் விபத்தில் பலத்த காயமடைந்த பெண்கள் உள்ளிட்ட 9 பேர் மானாமதுரை அரசு மருத்துவமனைக்கு சிகிச்சைக்காக கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டனர். அங்கு கோவை சேரன்மாநகர் மாரிமுத்து மகன் பாண்டி (40) என்பவர் உயிரிழந்தார்.

காயமடைந்த கார் டிரைவர் குமார் மற்றும் தேவி, திருஞானம், வேல்முருகன், கார்த்திகா, கிரிஜா, திருமலை ஆகிய 8 பேரும் மானாமதுரை, சிவகங்கை அரசு மருத்துவமனைகளில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டு சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருகின்றனர். மானாமதுரை போலீசார் விபத்துச் சம்பவம் குறித்து வழக்குப் பதிந்து விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.

Two persons, including a young woman, were killed when their car overturned near Manamadurai in Sivagangai district. Eight people were injured and the accident happened when Sami was going to bow down to the temple.

Aarthi (17), daughter of Ayyappan from Cheranmanagar, Coimbatore, who was in the car in the accident, died on the spot. Nine people, including a woman, were seriously injured in the accident and were rushed to Manamadurai Government Hospital for treatment. Pandi (40), son of Marimuthu of Cheranmanagar, Coimbatore, died there.

The injured car driver Kumar and 8 others including Devi, Thirunanam, Velmurugan, Karthika, Kirija and Thirumalai have been admitted to Manamadurai and Sivagangai government hospitals for treatment. Manamadurai police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
