முல்லை பெரியாறு விவகாரத்தில், அணையை உடைப்பதாக இனி கேரளா தரப்பில் கூறினால், தமிழக - கேரள எல்லைகளை அடைக்கப் போவதாக நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியின் தலைமை ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் சீமான் எச்சரித்துள்ளார்.
முல்லை பெரியாறு அணையிலிருந்து கேரளாவுக்கு முன்கூட்டியே தண்ணீர் திறக்கப்பட்டதாகக் கூறி, நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியினர் தேனியில் கண்டன ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடத்தினர். இதில் பங்கேற்றுப் பேசிய சீமான், முல்லை பெரியாறு அணை குறித்து அவதூறு பரப்புவோர் மீது நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படுமென கேரள சட்டப்பேரவையில் அறிவித்த பினராயி விஜயன், அணை பலவீனமடைந்து விட்டதாக வழக்குத் தொடர்ந்து இரட்டை நிலைப்பாடுடன் செயல்படுவதாகக் குற்றம்சாட்டினார்.
இந்த விவகாரத்தில் அணையை உடைப்பதாக கேரள தரப்பில் கூறினால், தமிழ்நாட்டில் உள்ள கேரள எல்லைகளை மூடி எதிர்ப்பை உணர்த்த வேண்டியிருக்கும் என்று சீமான் எச்சரித்தார்.In the Mullaperiyaru issue, Seeman, the chief co-ordinator of the Naam Tamil Party, has warned that if the Kerala side says it will break the dam, it will close the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border.
We, the Tamil Party, staged a protest in Theni, claiming that water had been opened to Kerala in advance from the Mulla Periyar Dam.
Speaking at the event, Seeman told the Kerala Legislative Assembly that action would be taken against those who spread slander about the Mullai Periyaru Dam, accusing it of acting with double standards following the case that the dam was weakened.
Seaman warned that if the Kerala side said it would break the dam on the issue, it would have to close the Kerala border in Tamil Nadu and express opposition.
