கரூர் பள்ளிமாணவி தற்கொலை விவகாரத்தில் தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்ட கணித ஆசிரியர் எழுதிவைத்த கடிதம் சிக்கியது.
கரூரில் பாலியல் தொல்லையால் தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்ட பள்ளி மாணவியின் கணித ஆசிரியர் சரவணன் திருச்சி அருகேயுள்ள மாமனார் வீட்டில் தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்டார். திருச்சி துறையூரில் உள்ள மாமனார் வீட்டில் தூக்கிட்டு தற்கொலை செய்யும் முன்பு சரவணன் கடிதம் எழுதியுள்ளார்.
அந்த கடிதத்தில், தனது குடும்பத்தில் உள்ளவர்களிடம் மன்னிப்பு கேட்டு எழுதியுள்ளார். "எனக்கும் மாணவியின் தற்கொலைக்கும் எந்த தொடர்பும் இல்லை. ஆனால் மாணவர்கள் என்னை தவறாக நினைக்கிறார்கள், நான் எந்த தவறும் செய்யவில்லை, ஏன் இப்படி கூறுகிறார்கள். மாணவர்கள் என்னை தவறாக நினைப்பதால் அவமானமாக இருக்கிறது" என தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

A letter written by a maths teacher who committed suicide in the Karur school student suicide case has been caught.
Saravanan, a math teacher of a schoolgirl who committed suicide due to sexual harassment in Karur, has committed suicide at her father-in-law's house near Trichy. Saravanan wrote the letter before committing suicide by hanging himself at his father-in-law's house in Thuraiyur, Trichy.
In that letter, he wrote an apology to his family. "I have nothing to do with the student's suicide. But the students think I're wrong, I did nothing wrong, why do they say that. It's a shame the students think I're wrong," he said.
