வேட்பாளர்களின் ஆதரவாளர்களுக்குள் மோதல்-Conflict among supporters of candidates

கள்ளக்குறிச்சி உள்ளாட்சி தேர்தல் போட்டியிடுதலில், வாக்கு சேகரிக்க சென்ற ஒரு தரப்பு வேட்பாளர்கள் மீது மற்றொரு தரப்பைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் கார் மோதியதால் பெரும் விபத்து ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. இதில் ஒருவர் உயிரிழந்துள்ளார். மேலும் 5 பேர் படுகாயமடைந்துள்ளனர்.

தமிழகத்தில் வருகின்ற அக்டோபர் 6 மற்றும் 9ஆம் தேதிகளில் இரண்டு கட்டங்களாக உள்ளாட்சித் தேர்தல் நடைபெறுகிறது. இதில் கள்ளக்குறிச்சி மாவட்டம் ரிஷிவந்தியம் ஒன்றியத்தில் வருகின்ற அக்டோபர் 6-ஆம் தேதி ஒரே கட்டமாக உள்ளாட்சித் தேர்தல் நடைபெறுகிறது. ரிஷிவந்தியம் ஒன்றியத்துக்கு உட்பட்ட கடம்பூர் ஊராட்சி மன்ற தலைவர் பதவிக்கு இரண்டு முறை வெற்றி பெற்று தலைவராக பதவி வகித்த வைத்தியநாதன் என்பவர் பூட்டு சாவி சின்னத்தில் போட்டியிடுகிறார். இவரை எதிர்த்து அதே பகுதியை சேர்ந்த இந்திராணி குழந்தைவேலு என்பவர் ஆட்டோ சின்னத்தில் போட்டியிடுகிறார். இந்த இரண்டு வேட்பாளர்கள் இடையே வேட்புமனு தாக்கல் செய்த நாளிலிருந்து கடும்போட்டி இருந்து வருகிறது.

இரண்டு வேட்பாளர்களும் தங்களது ஆதரவாளர்களுடன் கடம்பூர் ஊராட்சி மன்ற தலைவர் பதவிக்கு வெற்றி பெற தீவிர வாக்கு சேகரிப்பில் ஈடுபட்டு வந்தனர். இந்த நிலையில் இன்று காலை கடம்பூர் பஸ் நிறுத்தம் அருகே வைத்தியநாதன் ஆதரவாளர்கள் சுமார் 10க்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் நின்று கொண்டிருந்தனர். அப்போது எதிர் வேட்பாளர் இந்திராணி குழந்தைவேலுவின் ஆதரவாளர்கள் அதேபகுதியில் காரில் இருந்துள்ளனர். அந்த கார், வைத்தியநாதன் ஆதரவாளர்கள் மீது மோதியுள்ளது. தங்கள் மீது வேண்டுமென்றேதான் காரில் மோதினர் என வைத்தியநாதன் வேட்பாளர்கள் தரப்பு கூறுகின்றனர். கார் படுவேகமாக வந்து மோதியதில் வீராச்சாமி (வயது 40) என்பவர் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே உயிரிழந்துள்ளார். அவருக்கு அமுதா என்ற மனைவியும், இரண்டு சிறு வயது மகள்கள் மற்றும் ஒரு மகன் உள்ளனர்.  மேலும் ஐந்து பேருக்கு பலத்த காயம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. விபத்தில் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் அனைவரும் கள்ளக்குறிச்சி அரசு பொது மருத்துவமனைக்கு ஆம்புலன்சில் அனுப்பி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

விபத்தில் காயமடைந்தவர்களுக்கும் உயிரிழந்தவருக்கும் நியாயம் கேட்டு வைத்தியநாதன் ஆதரவாளர்கள் திருக்கோயிலூர் சங்கராபுரம் சாலையில் மறியலில் ஈடுபட்டனர். தகவலறிந்த திருப்பாலபந்தல் காவல்துறை மற்றும் பகண்டை கூட்ரோடு காவல்துறையினர் சம்பவ இடத்திற்கு விரைந்து சென்று மறியலில் ஈடுபட்டவர்களை சமாதானப்படுத்தி தகுந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பதாக கூறியதை தொடர்ந்து, அனைவரும் கலைந்து சென்றனர்.

During the Kallakurichi local body elections, a car collided head-on with a party candidate on his way to collect votes. One of them has died. Another 5 people were seriously injured.

Local government elections will be held in Tamil Nadu on October 6 and 9 in two phases. The local government elections will be held on October 6 in the Kallakurichi district Rishivandiyam union. Vaithiyanathan, a two-time chairman of the Kadampur Panchayat Council under the Rishivandiyam Union, is contesting under the lock key symbol. Indrani Kulantaivelu from the same area is competing against him in the auto symbol. The fierce competition between these two candidates has been going on since the day the nominations were filed.

Both the candidates along with their supporters were engaged in intense vote-gathering to win the post of Kadampur panchayat chief. In this situation, more than 10 Vaithiyanathan supporters were standing near the Kadampur bus stand this morning. Supporters of then-opposition candidate Indrani Kulantaivelu were in the car in the same area. The car collided with Vaithiyanathan's supporters.

Vaithiyanathan's candidates claim that they were deliberately hit by a car. Veerachami (40) died on the spot when the car collided head-on. He is survived by his wife, Amutha, two young daughters and a son. Five others were seriously injured. All the victims of the accident have been sent by ambulance to Kallakurichi Government General Hospital.

Vaithiyanathan's supporters staged a protest on Tirukoilur-Sankarapuram road demanding justice for the injured and victims of the accident. Everyone has been dispersed by the informed Topical Police and the Cellular Police to the incident and convicted that the tribal police claimed that it was appropriate.
