சொத்துவரி செலுத்தினால் ஊக்கத்தொகை -Property Tax Incentive

பெருநகர சென்னை மாநகராட்சிக்குட்பட்ட பகுதிகளில் உள்ளவர்கள் இம்மாதம் 15ஆம் தேதிக்குள் சொத்துவரியினை செலுத்தினால் ஐந்தாயிரம் ரூபாய் வரை ஊக்கத்தொகையாகப் பெறலாம் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

2021-2022 ஆம் நிதியாண்டின் இரண்டாம் அரையாண்டு சொத்துவரியினை வரும் 15ஆம் தேதிக்குள் செலுத்துமாறு சென்னை மாநகராட்சி அறிவித்துள்ளது. அவ்வாறு செலுத்துபவர்கள் வரியில் ஐந்து சதவீதம் என்ற விகிதத்தில் அதிகபட்சமாக ஐந்தாயிரம் ரூபாய் வரை ஊக்கத்தொகையினை பெறலாம் எனவும் மாநகராட்சி தெரிவித்துள்ளது.. அதே நேரம் குறிப்பிட்ட காலத்திற்குப் பின் வரி செலுத்தும் நபர்கள் வரியுடன் ஆண்டுக்கு இரண்டு விழுக்காடு வட்டியையும் சேர்த்து செலுத்த வேண்டும் என மாநகராட்சி குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளது. முதல் அரையாண்டில் சொத்து வரியாக 375 கோடியே 59 லட்சம் ரூபாய், தொழில்வரியாக 225 கோடியே 13 லட்சம் ரூபாய் என மொத்தம் 600 கோடியே 72 லட்சம் ரூபாய் வசூலித்துள்ளதாக சென்னை மாநகராட்சி வெளியிட்டுள்ள செய்திக்குறிப்பில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

It has been announced that those in the areas under the Metropolitan Corporation of Chennai can get an incentive of up to five thousand rupees if they pay property tax by the 15th of this month.

Chennai Corporation has announced to pay the second half property tax of the financial year 2021-2022 by the 15th. The corporation has said that such taxpayers can get an incentive of up to a maximum of Rs 5,000 at the rate of five per cent of the tax.

According to a press release issued by the Chennai Corporation, a total of 600 crore 72 lakh rupees has been collected as property tax of 375 crore 59 lakh rupees and professional tax of 225 crore 13 lakh rupees in the first half.
