ஊழல் மற்றும் போக்சோ வழக்குகளில் சிக்கி பணியிடை நீக்கம் செய்யப்பட்ட ஊழியர்களுக்கு ஊதியம் வழங்குவதை நிறுத்த வேண்டும் என தமிழக அரசுக்கு மாநில தகவல் ஆணையம் பரிந்துரைத்துள்ளது.
பேரூராட்சிகளில் ஊழல் தடுப்புச் சட்டத்தின் கீழ் சிக்கிய 42 அரசு ஊழியர்களும், பிற குற்றங்களுக்காக 60 அரசு ஊழியர்களும் பணியிடை நீக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டிருப்பதும், பாலியல் குற்றங்களில் 232 ஆசிரியர்கள், ஊழியர்கள் போக்சோ சட்டத்தில் சிக்கியிருப்பதும் தகவல் அறியும் உரிமைச் சட்டத்தின் கீழ் தெரியவந்துள்ளது. குற்றங்களில் சிக்கி பணியிடை நீக்கம் செய்யப்படும் அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கு முதல் 90 நாட்களுக்கு 50 சதவீத ஊதியமும், அடுத்த 180 நாட்களுக்கு 75 சதவீத ஊதியமும், 180 நாட்களுக்கு பிறகு முழு ஊதியமும் பிழைப்பூதியமாக வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
இதுகுறித்து தகவல் அறியும் உரிமைச் சட்டத்தில் சரியான விளக்கம் அளிக்காததால், ஆர்.பெரியசாமி என்பவர் மாநில தகவல் ஆணையத்தில் மேல்முறையீடு செய்தார். இதனை விசாரித்த ஆணையர் முத்துராஜ், பணிகாலத்தில் ஊழல் மற்றும் போக்சோ வழக்குகளில் சிக்கும் அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கு பிழைப்பூதியம் வழங்கும் நடைமுறையை நிறுத்த வேண்டும் என அரசுக்கு பரிந்துரைத்தார். தமிழ்நாடு ஊதியம் மற்றும் பிழைப்பூதிய சட்டம் மற்றும் பணி தொடர்பான சட்டங்களில் திருத்தம் கொண்டுவர வேண்டும் எனவும் மாநில தகவல் ஆணையர் பரித்துரைத்தார்.

The State Information Commission has recommended to the Tamil Nadu government to stop paying the employees who have been sacked due to corruption and pox cases.
According to the Right to Information Act, 42 civil servants have been sacked under the Anti-Corruption Act in municipalities and 60 civil servants have been sacked for other offenses, while 232 teachers and employees have been implicated in sexual offenses under the Pokcho Act. Civil servants who are laid off for crimes are paid 50 per cent of the pay for the first 90 days, 75 per cent for the next 180 days and full pay after 180 days.
R. Periyasamy appealed to the State Information Commission for not giving a proper explanation in the Right to Information Act. Commissioner Muthuraj, who inquired into the matter, recommended to the government that the practice of paying compensation to civil servants caught in corruption and pox cases during their tenure should be stopped. The State Information Commissioner also suggested that the Tamil Nadu Pay and Survival Act and work-related laws should be amended.
