சென்னை திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் அதிவேகத்தில் வந்த லாரி மோதியதில் இருசக்கர வாகனத்தில் சென்ற வாலிபர் உயிரிழந்தார்.
சென்னை அண்ணாசாலை தயான்சாகிப் தெருவைச் சேர்ந்தவர் ஜீனத் பாட்ஷா (24). இன்று அதிகாலையில் டீ குடிப்பதற்காக வீட்டிலிருந்து வாலாஜா சாலைக்கு வந்தார். பிறகு இருசக்கர வாகனத்தில் வீட்டிற்கு திரும்பி சென்றார். அப்போது அதிவேகமாக வந்த டிப்பர் லாரி ஒன்று ஜீனத் பாட்ஷாவின் இரு சக்கர வாகனத்தில் முன்பக்கம் மோதி விபத்துக்குள்ளானது. இவ்விபத்தில் ஜீனத்பாட்ஷா லாரியின் பின்பக்க டயரில் சிக்கி, 20 மீட்டர் இழுத்து கொண்டு சென்றதால் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே இறந்துபோனார்.
இதனை கண்டு டிப்பர் லாரி டிரைவர் தப்பி ஓடிவிட்டார். அங்கிருந்த லாரியினை பொதுமக்கள் சிறைபிடித்தனர். மயிலாப்பூர் துணை ஆணையர் திஷா மிட்டல் மற்றும் போலீசார் சம்பவ இடத்திற்கு வருகை தந்து பொதுமக்களிடம் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தி கூட்டத்தை கலைந்து போக வைத்தார். இந்த விபத்து குறித்து அண்ணாசதுக்கம் போக்குவரத்து புலனாய்வு பிரிவு போலீசார் வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்து தப்பியோடிய லாரி ஓட்டுநரை தேடி வருகின்றனர்.

A youth was killed when his two-wheeler collided with a speeding lorry at Tiruvallikeni in Chennai.
Zeenat Badshah (24) hails from Annasalai Dayansaki Street, Chennai. Walaja came to the road from home to drink tea this morning. He then rode back home on a two-wheeler.
A tipper truck, which was speeding at the time, collided head-on with Zeenat Badshah's two-wheeler. Zeenat Patsha was trapped in the back tire of the lorry and was dragged 20 meters and died on the spot.
Seeing this, the tipper truck driver fled. The lorry that was there was captured by the public. Mylapore Deputy Commissioner Disha Mittal and police visited the spot and held talks with the public to disperse the crowd.
Annasatukkam Traffic Investigation Division police have registered a case and are searching for the lorry driver who escaped.
