அந்த சாலை வழியாக உயர்நீதிமன்றம் வந்த நீதிபதி ஆனந்த் வெங்கடேஷ் வாகனத்தையும் காவல்துறையினர் தடுத்துள்ளனர். இதனால் உயர்நீதிமன்றத்திற்கு 25 நிமிடம் தாமதமாக வந்ததால் தனது பணி பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதால் இது குறித்து உள்துறை செயலாளர் ஆஜாரகி விளக்கம் அளிக்க நீதிபதி ஆனந்த் வெங்கடடேஷ் உத்தரவிட்டார்.

அதன்படி காணொலி காட்சி மூலம் ஆஜாரான உள்துறை செயலாளர் பிரபாகரிடம் எதனடிப்படையில் 25 நிமிடங்கள் தடுத்து நிறுத்தினீர்கள்? பொது ஊழியரான நீதிபதியான என்னை பணி செய்ய விடாமல் தடுத்தது நீதிமன்ற அவமதிப்பு என நீதிபதி சரமாரியாக கேள்வி எழுப்பினார். நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்விற்கு வருத்தம் தெரிவித்த உள்துறை செயலாளர் சென்னை மாநகர காவல் ஆணையரை நேரில் வரவழைத்து விளக்கம் கேட்டுள்ளதாகவும், எதிர்காலத்தில் இது போன்ற நிகழ்வு நடைபெறாது என உறுதியளித்தார்.

The Chief Minister and Ministers attended a function at Shivaji Mani Mandapam on DGS Dinakaran Road, Adyar, Chennai to mark the 96th birth anniversary of Shivaji Ganesan. To this end, iron barricades were erected on the roads and traffic was stopped on the roads. This caused severe traffic congestion on that road. Following this, the judge questioned whether the Chief Minister would be detained by the police like this when the ministers were going to the event and ordered that the judges should be given the same respect as the Chief Minister and the ministers. He said the incident was a contempt of court but did not take contempt of court action, believing it would not happen in the future.
