10 ஆண்டுகள் சிறை தண்டனை - டான்பிட் நீதிமன்றம்-10 years imprisonment - Donbit Court

நாட்டுக்கோழி வளர்ப்பு மோசடி வழக்கில் நிறுவன உரிமையாளர்களில் ஒருவருக்கு, தமிழ்நாடு முதலீட்டாளர்கள் நல பாதுகாப்பு நீதிமன்றம் 10 ஆண்டுகள் சிறை தண்டனை வழங்கியுள்ளது.

ஈரோடு மாவட்டம் பெருந்துறை பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த சகோதரர்கள் பிரகாஷ், மகேஷ். இவர்கள் இருவரும் இணைந்து கோவையில் ஸ்ரீ சாரு பார்ம்ஸ் என்ற பெயரில், நாட்டுக்கோழி வளர்ப்பு திட்டத்தை அறிவித்தனர். இருவேறு கவர்ச்சிகரமான திட்டங்கள் நிறுவனம் சார்பில் விளம்பரப் படுத்தப்பட்டது. இதனை நம்பி இந்த நிறுவனத்தில் பொதுமக்கள் முதலீடு செய்தனர். ஆனால், நிறுவனம் துவங்கி 2 மாதங்களில் கூறியதை போல் உரிய தொகை வழங்காமல் நிறுவனம் மூடபட்டது.

இதனால், கோவை மாவட்டம் காரமடையைச் சேர்ந்த ராஜன் என்பவர் கோவை பொருளாதார குற்றப்பிரிவில் 2012ல் புகார் அளித்தார். புகாரின் அடிப்படையில், மோசடி, டான்பிட் சட்டம் உள்ளிட்ட 4 பிரிவுகளில் கீழ் வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்த காவல் துறையினர், ஸ்ரீ சாரு பார்ம்ஸ் 14 முதலீட்டாளர்களிடம் ரூபாய் 40 லட்சத்து 56 ஆயிரம் மோசடி செய்ததை கண்டுபிடித்தது. இந்த வழக்கு கோவை ஒருங்கிணைந்த நீதிமன்ற வளாகத்தில் உள்ள தமிழ்நாடு முதலீட்டாளர்கள் நல பாதுகாப்பு சட்ட நீதிமன்றத்தில் விசாரணை நடைபெற்று வந்தது.

இந்நிலையில், தம்பி மகேஷ் மீதான மோசடி உறுதி செய்யப்பட்டதை அடுத்து, அவருக்கு 10 ஆண்டுகள் சிறை தண்டனையும் ரூபாய் 12 லட்சம் அபராதமும் விதித்து கோவை டான்பிட் நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டது.

The Tamil Nadu Investors Welfare Court has sentenced one of the company owners to 10 years in prison in a turkey breeding fraud case.

Brothers Prakash and Mahesh from Perundurai, Erode district. Together they announced a turkey breeding program in Coimbatore called Sri Charu Farms. Two different attractive projects were advertised on behalf of the company. Depending on this, the public invested in this company. However, within 2 months of its inception, the company was shut down without payment.

Thus, Rajan, a resident of Karamadai in Coimbatore district, lodged a complaint with the Coimbatore Economic Crimes Division in 2012. Based on the complaint, the police filed a case under 4 sections including fraud and donbit law and found that Sri Charu Farms had defrauded 14 investors to the tune of Rs 40 lakh 56 thousand. The case was heard in the Tamil Nadu Investors Welfare Law Court in the Coimbatore Integrated Court Complex.

Following the confirmation of the fraud against Thampi Mahesh, the Coimbatore Danbit court sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 12 lakh.
