காஞ்சிபுரம் அருகே தனியார் ஃபைனான்ஸில் வாங்கிய கடனை திருப்பி செலுத்தகோரி ஊழியர்கள் தந்த நெருக்கடி தாங்கமுடியாமல், மாற்றுத்திறனாளி விவசாயியொருவர் தற்கொலை செய்து இறந்துள்ளார். ஃபைனான்ஸ் நிறுவனத்தின் வாசலில் பூச்சி மருந்து குடித்து தற்கொலை செய்துகொண்ட மாற்றுத்திறனாளி விவசாயியின் மரணம், அப்பகுதியில் பெரும் சோகத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்டம் வாலாஜாபாத் அருகே உள்ள வில்லிவலம் கிராமத்தை சேர்ந்தவர், மாற்றுத்திறனாளி மனோகரன். விவசாயியான இவருக்கு, சொந்தமான நிலம் உள்ளது. அந்த நிலத்தில் விவசாயம் செய்வதற்கு கடந்த 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டு TVS Credit Service என்னும் தனியார் நிறுவனத்தில் ரூ. 2,11,734/- கடன் பெற்றுள்ளார் மனோகரன். அவர் மாற்றுத்திறனாளி என்பதால் அவருடைய ஜாமினில் ராமகிருஷ்ணன் என்பவரது பெயருக்கு கடன் பெறப்பட்டுள்ளது. அந்த கடன் தொகையில் ரூ. 1,68,354- த்தை மனோகரன் திருப்பி செலுத்தியுள்ளார். மீதி கடன் தொகையான ரூ.43,380/- நிலுவையில் உள்ளது.
இதை வசூல் செய்ய அந்த ஃபைனாஸ் நிறுவனத்தின் ஊழியர்கள் மனோகரன் வீட்டிற்கும், ராமகிருஷ்ணன் வீட்டிற்கும் சென்று மிரட்டி உள்ளனர். பதில் சொல்ல இயலாமல் நிறுவனத்திற்கு மனோகரனே நேரில் சென்று அவகாசம் தர கெஞ்சியுள்ளார். வீட்டில் உள்ளவர்களையும் அந்த ஊழியர்கள் மிரட்டியதால், இதுகுறித்து மனோகரன் காவல் நிலையத்திற்கும் சென்று புகார் அளித்துள்ளார் மனோகரன். காவல் நிலையத்தில் புகார் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டது. ஆனால் விசாரணை ஏதும் செய்யாததால் மீண்டும் நிறுவனத்திற்கு சென்று மீண்டும் அவகாசம் தரக் கோரி கேட்டிருக்கிறார் மனோகரன்.

இந்த நிலையில், அவர் மனைவிக்கும் அவரது ஒரு வயது குழந்தைக்கும் உடல்நிலை சரியில்லாமல் போயுள்ளது. இதுனால் மனோகரனால் மேலும் கடன் தவணைகளை செலுத்த முடியாமல் போயுள்ளது. கிட்டத்தட்ட மூன்று மாத காலமாக தவணைத் தொகை செலுத்தாத நிலையில், கடனை உடனடியாக செலுத்தகோரி தனியார் ஃபைனான்ஸ் ஊழியர்கள் நேரிலும், தொலைபேசியிலும் அடிக்கடி நெருக்கடி கொடுத்து வந்ததாக தெரிகிறது. ஒருகட்டத்தில் கடனை திருப்பி செலுத்தக் கோரி மனோகரனை அவர் வீட்டு வாசலில் வைத்து ஊழியர்கள் கிராம மக்கள் முன்னிலையில் ஃபைனான்ஸ் நிறுவன ஊழியர்கள் அவரை அவமானப்படுத்தியதாகவும் கூறப்படுகிறது. இதனால் மனமுடைந்து வேதனையுடன் இருந்த விவசாயி மனோகரன் ஃபைனான்ஸ் நிறுவன வாசலில் பூச்சி மருந்தை குடித்து தற்கொலைக்கு முயன்றுள்ளார்.
இதையடுத்து காஞ்சிபுரம் அரசு மருத்துவக் மருத்துவமனையில் அவர் சிகிச்சைக்காக சேர்க்கபட்டார். அங்கு தீவிர சிகிச்சை பிரிவில் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வந்த மனோகரன் மேல்சிகிச்சைக்காக செங்கல்பட்டு மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த நிலையில், இன்று சிகிச்சை பலனின்றி அவர் பரிதாபமாக உயிரிழந்தார். இதைத்தொடர்ந்து விவசாயி மனோகரன் உயிரிழப்புக்கு காரணமான தனியார் ஃபைனான்ஸ் ஊழியர்கள் மீது உரிய நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்றும், கடனை தள்ளுபடி செய்ய வேண்டுமென்றும் கிராம மக்கள் கோரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளனர்.
இது தொடர்பாக மனோகரின் உறவினர்களும் வாலாஜாபாத் காவல்நிலையத்தில் வழக்கு தொடர்ந்தனர். இந்த வழக்கின் அடிப்படையில் ஃபைனான்ஸ் ஊழியர்கள் அமர்நாத், கிருஷ்ணா, சரத்குமார், கார்த்திக் ஆகிய 4 பேர் மீது வழக்கு பதிவு செய்து வாலாஜாபாத் போலீசார் விசாரணை மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறார்கள்.

Following this, the villagers have demanded that appropriate action be taken against the private finance employees responsible for the death of farmer Manokaran and that the loan be waived.
Manohar's relatives also filed a case at the Walajabad police station. Based on this case, Walajabad police have registered a case against four finance employees Amarnath, Krishna, Sarathkumar and Karthik.
