முன்னாள் அமைச்சர் கே.சி.வீரமணி வீட்டில் நடைபெற்ற லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு துறை சோதனையின் தொடர்ச்சியாக வேலூர் ஆவின் மற்றும் ஆவின் தலைவரின் நண்பர் வீட்டில் சோதனை நடைபெற்றது.
சென்னை பெங்களூர் தேசிய நெடுஞ்சாலையில் உள்ளது வேலூர், திருப்பத்தூர், ராணிப்பேட்டை, திருவண்ணாமலை ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த ஆவின் அலுவலகம். இந்த அலுவலகத்திலும், ஆவின் தலைவர் வேழலகனின் நண்பர் சம்பத் வீட்டிலும் காலை 10 மணி முதல் வேலூர் மாவட்ட லஞ்ச ஒழிப்புத் துறையினர் சோதனை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர். வேலூர் ஆவின் நிறுவனத்தின் தலைவராக வேலூர் புறநகர் மாவட்ட அதிமுக செயலாளர் வேழலகன் இருந்து வருகிறார். இவர் முன்னாள் அமைச்சர் கே.சி.வீரமணியின் நெருங்கிய நண்பர்.
கடந்த 16ஆம் தேதி முன்னாள் அமைச்சர் கே.சி.வீரமணி வீடு மற்றும் அவரது உறவினர்கள் வீடு, அவருக்கு சொந்தமான இடங்கள் என 35 இடங்களில் லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு துறை சோதனை நடத்தியதில் 34 லட்சம் ரூபாய் ரொக்கப் பணம், நகைகள், வெளிநாட்டு டாலர் மற்றும் முக்கிய ஆவணங்கள் பறிமுதல் செய்யப்பட்டது. பறிமுதல் செய்யப்பட்ட பணம் மற்றும் முக்கிய ஆவணங்கள் கடந்த இரண்டு தினங்களுக்கு முன்பாக வேலூர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஆஜர்படுத்தப்பட்டது.
கே.சி.வீரமணிடம் நடைபெற்ற லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு துறை விசாரணையின் தொடர்ச்சியாக வீரமணியின் நண்பரும், அதிமுக புறநகர் மாவட்ட செயலாரும், ஆவின் தலைவருமானை வேலழகனின் ஆவின் அலுவலகத்திலும், வேலழகனின் நண்பரான சம்பத் என்பவர் வீட்டிலும் லஞ்ச ஒழிப்புத் துறையினர் சோதனை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர். சம்பத்குமார் வீட்டில் சோதனை முடிவடைந்த நிலையில் வேலூர் ஆவின் அலுவலகத்தில் சுமார் 6 மணி நேரத்தை கடந்து சோதனை நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.
