காட்பாடி கிழக்கு மற்றும் மேற்கு ஒன்றியத்தில் திமுக சார்பில் மாவட்ட கவுன்சிலர்கள் மற்றும் ஒன்றிய கவுன்சிலர்கள் பதவிகளுக்கு போட்டியிடக் கூடிய வேட்பாளர்கள் அறிமுக நிகழ்ச்சி சித்தூரில் நடைபெற்றது.
அமைச்சர் செந்தில் பாலாஜி, எம்.பி.கதிர் ஆனந்த மற்றும் தொண்டர்கள் ஏராளமானோர் இதில் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய அமைச்சர் துரைமுருகன், அரசு கொண்டு வரும் திட்டங்களை மக்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்ப்பது பஞ்சாயத்து தலைவர்களும், கவுன்சிலர்களுமே என்பதால் கட்சியினர் சிறப்பாக பணியாற்ற வேண்டும் என அறிவுரை வழங்கினார்.

Minister Duraimurugan said at the introductory function of the candidates in Vellore that the corporation elections will be held by December after the completion of the rural local government elections.
The introductory program for the candidates for the posts of District Councilors and Union Councilors on behalf of the DMK in Katpadi East and West Union was held in Chittoor.
Minister Senthil Balaji, MP Kadir Ananda and a large number of volunteers were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Duraimurugan advised the party leaders to work harder as it is the panchayat leaders and councilors who are bringing the projects brought by the government to the people.
