உலக சுற்றுலா தினம்: World Tourism Day

உலக சுற்றுலா தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு திருநெல்வேலியிலுள்ள 'ஆதரவற்ற முதியோர்கள் மற்றும் மனநலம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கான பாதுகாப்பு மையம்’-ல் உள்ளவர்கள் அனைவரும் கிருஷ்ணாபுரம் கலைக்கோயிலுக்கு சுற்றுலா அழைத்துச் செல்லப்பட்டுள்ளனர். இவர்களை தன்னார்வலர் குழுவொன்று வழிநடத்தியுள்ளது. தன்னார்வலர் குழுவின் இந்த நடவடிக்கை, பலரின் பாராட்டையும் பெற்று வருகிறது.

திருநெல்வேலி டவுணில் அரசின் நிதியுதவியுடன் செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது, ‘ஆதரவற்றோர் மற்றும் மன நலம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டோருக்கான மீட்பு மற்றும் அவசர சிகிச்சை மையம்’. இந்த மையத்தில் உள்ளவர்களுக்கு மூன்று வேளை உணவு மற்றும் மருத்துவ சிகிச்சையும் இலவசமாக அளிக்கப்படுவது வழக்கம். இந்த மையத்தை R - soya என்ற தொண்டு நிறுவனத்தை நடத்தி வரும் சரவணன் என்பவர் கவனித்து வருகிறார். மாநகராட்சி உதவியுடன் மையத்தில் உள்ளவர்களை பாதுகாத்து பராமரித்து வருகிறார் இவர்.

இந்த மையத்தில் உள்ளவர்கள் அனைவரும் உலக சுற்றுலா தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு நெல்லை மாவட்டத்தில் உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற சிற்பங்களை உள்ளடக்கி நிற்கும் கிருஷ்ணாபுரம் கோயிலுக்கு அழைத்து செல்லப்பட்டுள்ளனர். இந்நிகழ்வை ஒருங்கிணைத்த சரவணனுக்கு மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் விஷ்ணு அனுமதியும், ஆலோசனையும் வழங்கியுள்ளார்.

ஆட்சியரின் ஆலோசனைப்படி இரண்டு வேன்கள் மற்றும் ஒரு கார் இவற்றில் மனநலம் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட 22 பேர் மற்றும் வயதான ஆதரவற்ற முதியவர்கள் 26 பேர் என மொத்தம் 48 பேரை அழைத்துச் சென்றுள்ளனர் சரவணன் குழுவினர். ஆதரவற்றோர் பாதுகாப்பு முகாமில் இருந்து மதியம் 2.30 மணிக்கு புறப்பட்டு 3.30 மணிக்கு கிருஷ்ணாபுரம் சென்றடைந்துள்ளனர்.

இவர்கள் சென்றிருந்த கிருஷ்ணாபுரம் கோயில், முழுக்க முழுக்க ஒரு கலை பொக்கிஷம் என்றே சொல்லலாம். அந்தளவுக்கு கோயிலின் அமைப்பு வாசல் தொடங்கி உள்ளே கோயில் கருவறை வரை சிற்பங்களின் அணிவரிசை அழகுற அமைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்.

இந்த ஆதரவற்றோர் இல்லத்திலுள்ள பலரும், இதற்கு முன் இதே இடத்துக்கு தங்கள் குடும்பங்களுடன் சுற்றுலா வந்து சென்றவர்களாகவே இருக்கின்றனர். அந்நிகழ்வுகளை நினைத்தபடி அங்கே உலவிக்கொண்டிருந்த அவர்கள், இன்று உறவுகளற்ற நபர்களாக இருந்தாலும்கூட, ஆதரவற்றவர்களாக இல்லை. காரணம், அனைவரும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் ஆதரவாய் கைகோர்த்து நேரம் கடத்தி வந்தனர். அனைவரும் அங்கிருந்த கலைச் சிற்பங்களை ரசித்துப் பார்த்தனர். இவையாவும் அவர்களுக்கு மன ஆறுதலாக மட்டுமின்றி மனரீதியாக மாத்திரை இல்லாத மருந்தாகவும் இருக்குமென அவர்களை ஒருங்கிணைத்த சரவணன் நம்மிடையே கூறினார்.

சுமார் இரண்டு மணிநேரம் வரை கலை சிற்பங்களை சுற்றி பார்த்து ரசித்துக்கொண்டிருந்த அவர்கள் அனைவரும், பின்னர் கிருஷ்ணாபுரம் அருகிலுள்ள ஹோட்டலுக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லப்பட்டு அங்கு உணவருந்தினர். இப்படியாக சுற்றுலா தினத்தில் மகிழ்வான நினைவுகளுடன் இதைத்தொடர்ந்து பத்திரமாக மீண்டும் அவர்களது முகாம்களுக்கே திரும்ப வந்து சேர்ந்தனர். இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் கல்லூரியில் பயிலும் மாணவிகள் தன்னார்வலர்களாக கலந்துகொண்டு மனநலம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் மற்றும் வயதான மூத்த மக்களுக்கு உதவி செய்தனர்.

On the eve of World Tourism Day, all those in the 'Support Center for the Elderly and the Mentally Ill' in Tirunelveli have been taken on a tour to the Krishnapuram Art Temple. They are led by a team of volunteers. The move by the volunteer group has been praised by many.

In Tirunelveli Town, there is a government-funded ‘Recovery and Emergency Care Center for the Disabled and Mentally Ill’. Three meals and medical treatment are usually provided free of charge to those at the center. The center is run by Saravanan, who runs a charity called R-soya. He has been protecting and maintaining those at the center with the help of the corporation.

Everyone at the center is taken to the Krishnapuram Temple, which houses world-famous sculptures in the Nellai district on the eve of World Tourism Day. District Collector Vishnu has given permission and advice to Saravanan who coordinated the event.

On the advice of the Collector, the Saravanan team took away a total of 48 people in two vans and a car, including 22 mentally ill people and 26 elderly and helpless elderly people. The helpless left the security camp at 2.30 pm and reached Krishnapuram at 3.30 pm.

The Krishnapuram Temple, which they visited, is a treasure trove of art. The structure of the temple is arranged from the entrance to the sanctum sanctorum.

Many of these homeless people have traveled to the same place with their families before. Those who were browsing there thinking of those events, even though they are unrelated people today, are not helpless. The reason is that everyone was holding hands with each other and passing the time.

Everyone admired the art sculptures there. Saravanan, who co-ordinated them, told us that these would not only be a comfort to them but also a pill-free medicine for the mentally ill.

They all stared at the sculptures for about two hours and then took them to a hotel near Krishnapuram and ate there. Thus they returned safely to their camps with happy memories of the tourist day. The event was attended by college students who volunteered to help the mentally ill and the elderly.
