கொசஸ்தலை ஆற்றங்கரையோரம் உள்ள கீழ் கல்பட்டறை, செராக்காபேட்டை, நெடியம் உள்ளிட்ட பகுதிகளைச் சேர்ந்த மக்கள், பாதுகாப்பான பகுதிகளுக்குச் செல்ல மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளார். இந்நிலையில், ஆபத்தை உணராமல் சிலர் தரைப்பாலத்தை கடந்து செல்கின்றனர். அசம்பாவிதம் தடுக்கும் வகையில், காவல்துறையினர் பாதுகாப்புப் பணியில் ஈடுபட வேண்டும் என மக்கள் கோரிக்கை வைத்துள்ளனர்.

Thousands of cubic feet of water has been released from the Krishnapuram Dam in Andhra Pradesh, flooding the Kosasthalai River, submerging four causeways.
The District Collector has advised the people of the areas including the lower quarry, Cherakapet and Nedium along the Kosasthalai river bank to move to safer areas. In this case, some people cross the causeway without realizing the danger.
People have demanded that the police be involved in security operations to prevent any untoward incident.
