A complaint has been lodged with the Commissioner of Police's office seeking the arrest of Nanjil Sampath, who has been speaking poorly about Telangana Governor Tamilisai Saundarajan.
Muthuramesh, the leader of the Tamil Nadu Nadar Sangam, has lodged a complaint with the Chennai Police Commissioner's Office. Following this, he met the press.
"A video of Nanjil Sampath slandering Telangana Governor Tamizhai Saundarajan in public recently has been circulating on social media, as well as saying that there is no need for a governor and that we will not respect the governor.
Nanjil Sampath, who had thus spoken slanderously, said that women should be arrested under the Prevention of Torture Act and the National Security Act.

"நாஞ்சில் சம்பத் சமீபத்தில் பொதுமேடையில் தெலங்கானா ஆளுநர் தமிழிசை சவுந்தரராஜன் குறித்து ஒருமையில் அவதூறாக பேசிய வீடியோ சமூக வலைதளங்களில் பரவி வருவகிறது. அதேபோல ஆளுநர் பதவி தேவையில்லை எனவும் ஆளுநரை மதிக்கமாட்டோம் என அரசியல் அமைப்பு சட்டத்திற்கு எதிராகவும் பேசிவருகிறார்.
இதனால் அவதூறாக பேசிய நாஞ்சில் சம்பத் மீது பெண்கள் வன்கொடுமை தடுப்புச் சட்டம் மற்றும் தேசிய பாதுகாப்புச் சட்டத்தின் கீழ் கைது செய்யப்பட வேண்டும் என தெரிவித்தார்.
