வடகிழக்குப் பருவ மழை தொடரும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படும் நிலையில் மக்களுக்கு நிவாரண உதவி வழங்குவதிலும் மீட்பு நடவடிக்கைகளில் பாதிப்புகளை சரி செய்வதிலும் கழக உடன்பிறப்புகள் தொடர்ந்து களத்தில் இறங்கி பணியாற்ற வேண்டும் என்று அன்புடன் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன். எனது பிறந்தநாளில் என்னை வாழ்த்தும் அனைத்து அன்பு உள்ளங்களுக்கும் மனமார்ந்த நன்றி'' என்று அவர் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.
