கீரனூர் அருகே சிறப்பு சப்-இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் கயவர்களால் நேற்று இரவு வெட்டிக் கொல்லப்பட்டார் என்கின்ற செய்தி அதிர்ச்சி அளிக்கிறது என்று பாஜக மாநில அண்ணாமலை கூறியுள்ளார்.

 

திருச்சி மாவட்டம் நவல்பட்டு காவல் நிலைய சிறப்பு ஆய்வாளராக பணியாற்றி வந்தவர் பூமிநாதன். இவர் புதுக்கோட்டை மாவட்டம் கீரனூர் அருகே ஆடும் திருடும் கும்பல் ஒன்றினை விரட்டிச் சென்ற போது அக்கும்பலால் வெட்டி படுகொலை செய்யப்பட்டார்.

இச்சம்பவத்திற்கு கண்டம் தெரிவித்துள்ள பாஜக மாநில தலைவர் அண்ணாமலை, ''நவல்பட்டு சிறப்பு சப்-இன்ஸ்பெக்டர் கயவர்களால் நேற்று இரவு வெட்டிக் கொல்லப்பட்டார் என்கின்ற செய்தி அதிர்ச்சி அளிக்கிறது. கரணம் தப்பினால் மரணம் என்கிற நிலைப்பாட்டில் தான் நம்முடைய காவல்துறை சகோதர சகோதரிகள் பணியாற்றுகிறார்கள். பணி நேரத்தில் கொல்லப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு சிறப்பு சட்டம் எதுவும் கிடையாது, இது போன்ற நிகழ்வுகள் அந்த சிறப்பு சட்டம் வேகமாக வர வேண்டும் என்று நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது.

 

மாநில அரசு கூட இதுபோன்ற நிகழ்வுகளுக்கு ஒரு கோடி ரூபாய் நிவாரணத் தொகையை அறிவித்து அதை செயல்படுத்த வேண்டும். அன்னாரது குடும்பத்தினருக்கு என்னுடைய ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கலைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கின்றேன்'' என்று அவர் கூறியுள்ளார்.

Bhuminathan was working as a special inspector at the Nawalpattu police station in Trichy district. He was hacked to death by a mob while chasing a gang of robbers near Keeranur in Pudukkottai district.

BJP state president Annamalai condemned the incident, saying, "The news that Nawalpattu was hacked to death by a special sub-inspector last night is shocking.

Our police brothers and sisters work in the position of death if they escape. There is no special law for those killed on the job, and events like this remind us that that special law should come fast.

 

The state government should also announce a Rs 1 crore relief package for such incidents and implement it. I offer my deepest condolences to her family, "said Tariq al-Hashimi, the party's secretary general.
