முதுகுளத்தூரில் பேரூராட்சி ஊழியர் ஒருவர் இரும்புக் கம்பியால் நாயை அடித்துக் கொன்ற வீடியோ சமூக வலைதளங்களில் வைரலாகி வருகிறது.

ராமநாதபுரம் மாவட்டம் முதுகுளத்தூர் பேரூராட்சிக்குட்பட்ட பரமக்குடி செல்லும் சாலையோரம் ஒரு வீட்டின் முன்பாக இருந்த நாய் ஒன்றை முதுகுளத்தூர் பேரூராட்சியில் பணியாற்றும் ஊழியர் ஒருவர் இரும்புக் கம்பியால் பலமாக தாக்கியதில், அந்த நாய் இரத்த வெள்ளத்தில் துடிதுடித்து உயிரிழந்த வீடியோ சமூக வலைதளங்களில் பரவி பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

விசாரணையில், அடித்துக் கொல்லபட்ட நாய், சாலையில் செல்வோரை கடித்ததால் அதன் உரிமையாளர் நாயை அடித்துக் கொல்லச் சொன்னதாக தெரியவந்தது. இதையடுத்து பேரூராட்சி நிர்வாகம் உடனடியாக சம்பந்தப்பட்டவர் மீது நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கும்படி விலங்கின ஆர்வலர்கள் கோரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளனர். 

இதுகுறித்து முதுகுளத்தூர் பேரூராட்சி செயல் அலுவலர் மாலதியை தொடர்பு கொண்டு கேட்டபோது ஊழியர் மீது விசாரணை நடத்தி நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என தெரிவித்தார்.

The video of a municipal employee beating a dog with an iron bar in Mudukulathur has gone viral on social media.

Ramanathapuram: A dog in front of a house on the road leading to Paramakudi in the Mudukulathur municipality of Ramanathapuram district was hit by an iron bar by an employee of the Mudukulathur municipality.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the battered dog had bitten a passerby on the road and its owner had told him to beat the dog to death. Animal rights activists have called on the city administration to take immediate action against the perpetrators.

When the Mudukulathur Municipal Executive Officer contacted Malathi about this, he said that action would be taken against the employee.
