தமிழகத்தில் 5 மாவட்டங்களுக்கு கனமழை எச்சரிக்கை: வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் எச்சரிக்கை-Heavy rain warning for 5 districts in Tamil Nadu: Meteorological Center warning

புதிய காற்றழுத்த தாழ்வுப் பகுதி வரும் 29ஆம் தேதி தெற்கு அந்தமான் அருகே உருவாகும் என்று கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நிலையில், காற்று சுழற்சி காரணமாக அடுத்த 5 நாட்களுக்கு தமிழகத்தில் மிக கனமழை பெய்யும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மேலும் வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் அறிவித்துள்ள தகவலில், ‘இன்றைய தினம் நாகை, புதுக்கோட்டை, ராமநாதபுரம், தூத்துக்குடி, நெல்லை ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களுக்கு மிக கனமழையும்; தஞ்சை, திருவாரூர், நாகை, மயிலாடுதுறை ஆகிய டெல்டா மாவட்டங்களில் கனமழை பெய்யும். நாளை கன்னியாகுமரி, நெல்லை, தென்காசி ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களுக்கும் மிககனமழைக்கான வாய்ப்புள்ளது’ என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

கனமழை எச்சரிக்கையை தொடர்ந்து, நெல்லை மற்றும் தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டத்தில் பள்ளிகளுக்கு விடுமுறை அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த இரண்டு மாவட்டங்களிலும், இன்றைய தினமே பெரும்பாலான பகுதிகளிலும் கனமழை பெய்து வருவதன் காரணமாக இன்று நடந்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் பள்ளிகள் யாவும் மதியம் முதல் விடுமுறையாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

The new depression is expected to form near the southern Andamans on the 29th, with heavy rains expected in Tamil Nadu for the next 5 days due to wind gusts.

According to the Meteorological Department, Nagai, Pudukottai, Ramanathapuram, Thoothukudi and Nellai districts will receive heavy rains today. Delta districts of Tanjore, Thiruvarur, Nagaon and Mayiladuthurai will receive heavy rainfall. Kanyakumari, Nellai and Tenkasi districts are also likely to receive heavy rains tomorrow.

Following the heavy rain warning, schools in Nellai and Thoothukudi districts have been closed. Due to heavy rains in these two districts and most parts of the state today, all the schools that are running today have been declared closed from this afternoon.
