நீண்ட நாட்களுக்குப் பிறகு திருவாரூர் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அலுவலகத்தில் விவசாயிகள் குறை தீர்க்கும் கூட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. இந்த கூட்டத்தில் 100-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட விவசாயிகள் மற்றும் விவசாய சங்கங்களை சேர்ந்தவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டார்கள். மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் காயத்ரி கிருஷ்ணன் தலைமையில் நடந்த இந்த கூட்டத்தில் மாவட்ட ரீதியில் துறைவாரியாக முக்கிய அரசு அதிகாரிகள் கலந்து கொண்டார்கள்.

கூட்டத்தில் விவசாயிகள் ஒவ்வொருவரும் தங்களுடைய குறைகளையும் கோரிக்கைகளையும் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரிடம் தெரிவித்தார்கள். மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரும் அந்தந்த துறை சார்ந்த அதிகாரிகளை அதே இடத்தில் அந்த குறை மற்றும் கோரிக்கைகளை எடுத்துரைத்து சரி செய்ய சொல்லி சொன்னார். இப்படிக் கூட்டம் பரபரப்பான சூழ்நிலையில் விறுவிறுப்பாக நடந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் நிலையில், விவசாயி ஒருவர் பேசிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போது மற்றொரு விவசாயி எனக்கு வாய்ப்பு கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று குறுக்கே குறுக்கே பேசினார்.

After a long day, a farmers' grievance meeting was held at the Thiruvarur District Collector's Office. The meeting was attended by more than 100 farmers and members of agricultural associations. The meeting, chaired by District Collector Gayatri Krishnan, was attended by key government officials by department at the district level.
