மதுரையில் ரவுடி வரிச்சியூர் செல்வத்திடம் மாவட்ட காவல் துறையினர் நன்னடத்தை உறுதிமொழி பத்திரம் எழுதி வாங்கியுள்ளனர்.

மதுரையில் அதிரடி நடவடிக்கையின் மூலம் 235 ரவுடிகளின் குற்ற வழக்குகள் தணிக்கை செய்யப்பட்டு, 25 பேரை காவல் துறையினர் கைது செய்தனர். ஆயிரத்து 170 பேரிடம் நன்னடத்தை உறுதிமொழி பத்திரம் எழுதி வாங்கினர்.

இந்நிலையில் மதுரையில் வலம்வந்த வரிச்சியூர் செல்வத்திடமும் காவல் துறையினர் உறுதிமொழி பத்திரம் எழுதி வாங்கினர். எந்தவித குற்றச் செயலிலும் ஈடுபடக்கூடாது என மேலூர் வருவாய் கோட்டாச்சியர் முன்னிலையில் உறுதிமொழி பத்திரம் எழுதி பெறப்பட்டுள்ளது. உறுதிமொழி எழுதிக் கொடுத்துவிட்டு ஓராண்டு காலத்துக்குள் குற்றத்தில் ஈடுபடுவோர் மீண்டும் சிறையில் அடைக்கப்படுவர் என காவல் துறையினர் எச்சரித்தனர்.
