"கருணைக்கொலை செய்து விடுங்கள்”
பெற்ற பிள்ளைகள் வீட்டைவிட்டு விரட்டியடித்ததால், கருணை கொலை செய்ய உத்தரவிடக்கோரி கண்ணீருடன் மயிலாடுதுறை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரிடம் மூதாட்டி ஒருவர் மனு அளித்துள்ளார்.
மயிலாடுதுறை மாவட்டம் வாணாதிராஜபுரம் பகுதியை சேர்ந்தவர் 90 வயது மூதாட்டி தாவூத் பீவி. கணவரை இழந்த இவர், தனது வீட்டில் இளைய மகன் அசரப் அலியுடன் வசித்து வந்துள்ளார். இதையடுத்து மகன் வெளிநாடு சென்றதும், தாவூத் பீவியை அவரது மருமகள் கடந்தவாரம் வீட்டைவிட்டு வெளியேற்றிவிட்டதாகவும் மூத்த மகன் வீட்டிலும் தாவுத் பீவியை சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளவில்லை எனவும் கூறப்படுகிறது.
இந்நிலையில் மயிலாடுதுறை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரின் மனுநீதி நாள் முகாமில் கலந்துகொண்ட தாவுத் பீவி, “ஊர் பஞ்சாயத்தார் கூறியும் எனது மகன்கள் வீட்டிலும் என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை. மகள் வீட்டிலும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை. அக்கம்பக்கத்தினர் அளித்த உணவை மட்டுமே சாப்பிட்டு வருகிறேன். நான் மிகுந்த வேதனையை அனுபவித்து வருகிறேன்” என்றார்.
மேலும் “என் வீட்டை அவர்களிடமிருந்து மீட்டு, அதை விற்று பணத்தை வங்கியில் வரவு வைத்து தர வேண்டும். அந்த பணத்தில் எனது இறுதிகாலத்தை கழிக்கிறேன். இல்லையென்றால் என்னை கருணை கொலை செய்து விடுங்கள்” என்று கண்ணீருடன் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரிடம் பீவி முறையிட்டார். இதைகேட்ட மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் லலிதா உடனடியாக மயிலாடுதுறை ஆர்.டி.ஓ பாலாஜி மூலம் பீவியை மூத்தமகன் வீட்டிற்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தார். மேலும் கும்பத்தாரை அழைத்து நிரந்தரதீர்வு காணப்படும் எனவும் ஆட்சியர் உறுதியளித்துள்ளார்.

"I have to get my house back from them, sell it and deposit the money in the bank. I spend my last days on that money. If not, please kill me, ”Beavis pleaded with the district attorney in tears.
Hearing this, District Collector Lalita immediately sent Beevi to her eldest son's house through Mayiladuthurai RDO Balaji. The Collector has also assured that a permanent solution will be found by summoning Kumbhatara.
