புதிய பணி நியமணங்களுக்கு இடைத்தரகர்களிடம் பணம் தந்து ஏமாற வேண்டாம் என அமைச்சர் கேட்டுக்கொண்டுள்ளார். முன்னதாக சில மாதங்களுக்கு முன் தமிழகத்தின் முக்கியமான அரசுத்துறை நிறுவனங்களில் ஒன்றான ஆவினில் பல்வேறு முறைகேடுகள் நிகழ்ந்துள்ளதாக கூறி விசாரணை செய்துவந்தது அரசு.
குறிப்பாக தேனி, மதுரை, விருதுநகர், நாமக்கல், தஞ்சை உள்பட 8 மாவட்டங்களில் விதிகளை பின்பற்றாமலும் முறைகேடாகவும் மேலாளர் உள்பட 870 பணியிடங்கள் நிரப்பப்பட்டுள்ளதாக புகார் எழுந்திருந்தது.
