முன்னாள் முதலமைச்சர் ஜெயலலிதா நினைவிடத்திற்கு வரும் 16ஆம் தேதி சென்று அவரது தோழி சசிகலா அஞ்சலி செலுத்த உள்ளார்.
அதிமுகவின் 50-வது ஆண்டு தொடக்க விழா வரும் 17ம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. இதையொட்டி ஜெயலலிதா நினைவிடத்திற்கு சென்று அஞ்சலி செலுத்த உள்ளதாக சசிகலா தெரிவித்துள்ளார். சசிகலா சிறையிலிருந்து வெளியே வந்த பின் ஜெயலலிதா நினைவிடத்திற்கு செல்வது இதுவே முதல்முறையாகும். தமிழ்நாட்டு அரசியலில் இருந்து ஒதுங்கியிருப்பதாக சட்டப்பேரவை தேர்தலுக்கு முன் அறிவித்த சசிகலா பின்னர் தன் நிலைப்பாட்டை மாற்றிக்கொண்டு அரசியலுக்கு வருவது குறித்து ஆதரவாளர்களிடம் தொலைபேசியில் பேசி வந்தார்.
இந்நிலையில் ஜெயலலிதா நினைவிடத்திற்கு சசிகலா செல்ல உள்ளார். இதை தொடர்ந்து சென்னை ராமாபுரத்தில் உள்ள எம்ஜிஆர் இல்லத்திற்கும் சென்று அவரது சிலைக்கு சசிகலா மரியாதை செலுத்துவார் எனக் கூறப்படுகிறது.
