சிவகங்கையில் சேதமடைந்து சாய்ந்த மின் இணைப்பு கம்பத்தை சீரமைக்க மின் வாரிய ஊழியர் 10 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் லஞ்சம் கேட்ட சம்பவம் அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

சிவகங்கை மாவட்டம், ஒக்கூர் அருகே கடந்த சில வாரங்களாக பலத்த காற்றுடன் கூடிய மழை பெய்து வருகிறது. இதில் ஒக்கூர் அண்ணாநகரைச் சேர்ந்த விவசாயி முத்துராமனின் மின் மோட்டார் இணைப்பு கம்பம் கடந்த 10 நாட்களுக்கு முன்பு கீழே சாய்ந்துள்ளது. அதனை சரிசெய்ய விவசாயி முத்துராமலிங்கம் மதகுபட்டி மின் வாரியத்தை அணுகியுள்ளார். ஆனால் மின்வாரிய ஊழியர்கள் சாய்ந்த மின்கம்பத்தை சரிசெய்து தர 10 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் லஞ்சம் கேட்டுள்ளதாக தெரிகிறது.

இதனால், அதிர்ச்சியடைந்த முத்துராமலிங்கம் 10 நாட்களாக மின் கம்பத்தை சீரமைக்க முடியாமல் தவித்து வந்த நிலையில், மின்வாரிய ஊழியர் தேவேந்திரனை தொலைபேசியில் தொடர்பு கொண்டு, ''ஏழ்மை நிலையில் இருக்கும் என்னால் பணம் தர முடியவில்லை. வட்டிக்குத்தான் வாங்க வேண்டும். கொஞ்சம் குறைத்து கேளுங்கள்'' என்று கூறியுள்ளார். ஆனால், மின்வாரிய ஊழியர், ''மேல் அதிகாரிகளுக்கு கொடுக்க வேண்டும். இதில் ஒன்றும் செய்ய முடியாது'' என்று உறுதியாக கூறியுள்ளார். இந்த ஆடியோவால் சிவகங்கை மாவட்ட மின்வாரிய ஊழியர்களை அதிர்ச்சிக்குள்ளாக்கியுள்ளது.

இதுகுறித்து சிவகங்கை மாவட்ட தலைமை பொறியாளர் சகாயராஜிடம் கேட்டபோது,சம்பவம் குறித்து விசாரணை நடத்தவும்,பாதிக்கப்பட்ட விவசாயிக்கு மின் கம்பத்தை மாற்றி கொடுக்கவும், மதகுபட்டி உதவி பொறியாளருக்கு உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளதாகவும் தெரிவித்தார்.
