செவிலியர்கள் நள்ளிரவு வரை போராட்டம் Nurses struggle until midnight

பணிநிரந்தரம் கோரி, சென்னை டிஎம்எஸ் வளாகத்தில் செவிலியர்கள் நள்ளிரவு வரை போராட்டம் நடத்தினர். முன்னதாக போராடியவர்களை காவல்துறையினர் குண்டுக்கட்டாக வெளியேற்றியதால் பரபரப்பு ஏற்பட்டது.

கடந்த 2019ஆம் ஆண்டு மருத்துவ தேர்வாணையம் மூலம் தேர்ச்சி பெற்ற செவிலியர்களை, கொரோனா காலத்தில் 6 மாத கால ஒப்பந்த அடிப்படையில் தமிழக அரசு பணி நியமனம் செய்தது. பின்னர் கொரோனா 2வது அலை பரவல், 3ஆவது அலை எச்சரிக்கை காரணமாக அவர்களுக்கு பணி நீடிப்பு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்நிலையில் திமுக தேர்தல் அறிக்கையில் அளித்த வாக்குறுதிப்படி தங்களை பணி நிரந்தரம் செய்ய வேண்டும் என வலியுறுத்தி சென்னை தேனாம்பேட்டையில் உள்ள டி.எம்.எஸ் வளாகத்தில் ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட செவிலியர்கள் உள்ளிருப்பு போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டனர்.

தற்காலிக பணி நியமன ஆணை பெற்ற 2 ஆயிரத்து 750 செவிலியர்கள் பணி நிரந்தரம் செய்யப்பட்ட நிலையில், மேலும் 3 ஆயிரத்து 485 செவிலியர்களையும் பணி நிரந்தரம் செய்ய வேண்டும் என அவர்கள் வலியுறுத்தினர். செவிலியர்களின் போராட்டக் களத்திற்கு மக்கள் நீதி மய்யத் தலைவர் கமல்ஹாசன், நேரில் சென்று ஆதரவு தெரிவித்தார். பின்னர் செவிலியர்களுடன் மருத்துவத் துறை அமைச்சர் மா.சுப்பிரமணியன் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தினார். இருப்பினும் செவிலியர்கள் கலைந்து செல்லாததால், 100-க்கணக்கான காவலர்கள் வலுக்கட்டாயமாக செவிலியர்களை வெளியேற்றினர். அவர்கள் சாலையில் அமர்ந்து மறியலில் ஈடுபட்டனர்.

போராட்டத்தின் போது மயங்கி விழுந்த 5 செவிலியர்கள் ராயப்பேட்டை அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டனர். இதனிடையே, சில செவிலியர்கள் நள்ளிரவு வரை தங்களது போராட்டத்தைத் தொடர்ந்தனர். காவல் துறையினர் அங்கிருந்து வெளியேறிய நிலையில், வெளியூரிலிருந்து வந்த செவிலியர்கள் சொந்த ஊருக்கு புறப்பட்டுச் சென்றனர்.

Nurses at the Chennai DMS premises staged a protest till midnight demanding resumption of work. The observance of the pregnant fought for the prior to the bombardment.

The Government of Tamil Nadu has recruited nurses who passed the Medical Examination in 2019 on a 6-month contract basis during the Corona period. They have since been given an extension of work due to the Corona 2nd wave spread and the 3rd wave warning. In this situation, more than a thousand nurses staged a sit-in protest at the DMS premises in Chennai Denampettai, demanding that they be made permanent as promised in the DMK election manifesto.

They demanded that 2,750 nurses who had received temporary appointment orders be made permanent, while another 3,485 nurses be made permanent. Kamal Haasan, chairman of the People's Justice Center, visited the nurses' battlefield and expressed his support. Later, Medical Minister Ma Subramaniam held talks with the nurses. However, as the nurses did not disperse, hundreds of guards forcibly evacuated the nurses. They sat on the road and engaged in picketing.

Five nurses who fainted during the protest were admitted to Raipet Government Hospital. Meanwhile, some nurses continued their struggle until midnight. As the police evacuated, the nurses from the outpost left for their hometown.
