நாட்டின் 75 ஆவது சுதந்திர தினத்தையொட்டி, காந்தி ஜெயந்தி தினத்தன்று மேட்டுப்பாளையத்திலிருந்து உதகைக்கு சிறப்பு மலை ரயில் இயக்கப்படும் என்று ரயில்வே நிர்வாகம் அறிவித்துள்ளது.
கொரோனா அச்சம் காரணமாக ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டிருந்த மலை ரயில் சேவை, அண்மையில் அளிக்கப்பட்ட தளர்வுகளின் அடிப்படையில் கடந்த 6 ஆம் தேதி மீண்டும் தொடங்கியது. வரும் அக்டோபர் 2 ஆம் தேதி காந்தி ஜெயந்தி அன்று, சிறப்பு மலை ரயில் இயக்கப்படும் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. வழக்கமான மலை ரயில் காலை 7.10 மணிக்கு மேட்டுப்பாளையத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட பின், காலை 9.10 மணிக்கு சிறப்பு மலை ரயில் புறப்படும். முன்பதிவு செய்தவர்கள் மட்டுமே அனுமதிக்கப்படுவர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
