பிரசித்தி பெற்ற மதுரை மீனாட்சி அம்மன் கோயில் உண்டியலில் 38லட்சம் ரூபாயை பக்தர்கள் காணிக்கையாக செலுத்தியுள்ளனர்.
கோயில் வளாகத்தில் மீனாட்சி அம்மன் மற்றும் அதனை சார்ந்த உப கோயில்களில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த உண்டியலின் காணிக்கை எண்ணப்பட்டது. அதில் 38லட்சத்து 62ஆயிரத்து 507 ரூபாய் ரொக்கம், 408 கிராம் தங்கம், 503 கிராம் வெள்ளி, 30வெளிநாட்டு பணம் ஆகியவை காணிக்கையாக கிடைத்துள்ளதாக கோயில் நிர்வாகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

Devotees have donated Rs 38 lakh to the famous Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple.
The offerings of the bill placed in the Meenakshi Goddess and its sub-temples in the temple premises were counted. According to the temple administration, 38 lakh 62 thousand 507 rupees in cash, 408 grams of gold, 503 grams of silver and 30 foreign currency were received as gifts.
