AIADMK ward secretary arrested for setting fire to Sasikala supporter's car in Paramakudi
Vincent Raja was the District Secretary of the Ramanathapuram AIADMK MGR Youth Team. Sasikala was removed from the post of a basic member of the party last year following the release of an audio recording of him talking on the phone. In this case, he was sleeping after parking his car in Melakkavanur village near Paramakudi.
Mysterious persons then poured petrol on the car and set it on fire, destroying the entire car. Paramakudi taluka police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. As there was no progress in the case, the Madurai branch of the High Court ordered that the case be transferred to the CPCIT.
AIADMK 34th Ward Secretary Manikandan (33) from Paramakudi Kamaraj Nagar has been arrested by the CPCIT police. Police say Vincent has confessed to setting King's car on fire due to political animosity. Also accompanying mercenaries are looking for 6 people.

அப்போது மர்ம நபர்கள் கார்மீது பெட்ரோல் ஊற்றி தீ வைத்ததில் கார் முழுவதும் எரிந்து நாசமானது. இச்சம்பவம் குறித்து பரமக்குடி தாலுகா போலீசார் வழக்கு பதிந்து விசாரணை செய்து வந்தனர். வழக்கில் முன்னேற்றம் இல்லாததால் இவ்வழக்கை சிபிசிஐடி விசாரணைக்கு மாற்றி உயர்நீதிமன்ற மதுரை கிளை உத்தரவிட்டது.
சிபிசிஐடி போலீசார் விசாரணையில் பரமக்குடி காமராஜர் நகரைச் சேர்ந்த அதிமுக 34வது வார்டு செயலாளர் மணிகண்டன் (33) என்பவரை கைது செய்து விசாரணை செய்து வருகின்றனர். அரசியல் முன்விரோதம் காரணமாக வின்சென்ட் ராஜாவின் காருக்கு தீ வைத்ததாக வாக்குமூலம் அளித்துள்ளதாக போலீசார் தெரிவித்தனர். மேலும் உடனிருந்த கூலி ஆட்கள் 6 பேரை தேடி வருகின்றனர்.
