திருச்சி: திருவெறும்பூர் கவுற்றாற்று கரைகளில் முதலை நடமாட்டம் - அச்சத்தில் பொதுமக்கள்-Crocodile movement on the banks of Thiruverumbur estuary - Public in fear

திருவெறும்பூரை அடுத்த காட்டூர் பாலாஜி நகரில் உள்ள கவுற்றாற்றில் முதலை நடமாட்டம் உள்ளதால் அப்போது பொதுமக்கள் அச்சம் அடைந்துள்ளனர்.

தொடர் மழை காரணமாக திருச்சி மாவட்டம் திருவெறும்பூர் பகுதிகளில் உள்ள நீர்நிலைகள் நிரம்பி வழிகின்றன. இந்நிலையில் கவுற்றாறு என்றழைக்கப்படும் காட்டாற்றில் வெள்ள பெருக்கெடுத்து ஓடுகிறது. காட்டூர் பாலாஜி நகர் குடியிருப்பு வழியாக செல்லும் இந்த காட்டாற்றில் தற்போது முதலையின் நடமாட்டத்தை அவ்வழியே சென்றவர்கள் பார்த்துள்ளனர்.

இதனை செல்போன் மூலம் வீடியோ எடுத்து அப்பகுதியில் உள்ள வாட்ஸ்அப் குழுவில் ஒன்று பகிரப்பட்டது. இதனால் பாலாஜி நகரில் உள்ள குடியிருப்பு வாசிகள் பெரும் அச்சத்தில் உள்ளனர். ஆற்றின் கரையில் குடியிருப்போர் மற்றும் கரை வழி சாலையை பயன்படுத்துபவர்கள் கவனமுடன் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்றும், முதலை நடமாட்டம் தெரிந்தால் உடனே வனத்துறைக்கோ அல்லது தீயணைப்பு துறையினருக்கு தகவல் தெரிவிக்குமாறு நகர் நலசங்க நிர்வாகிகள் பொதுமக்களுக்கு வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளனர்.

Due to continuous rains, the water levels in Thiruverumbur areas of Trichy district are overflowing. In this case, the flood is overflowing in the forest called Kauttaru. Passers-by have seen the movement of crocodiles in the forest, which passes through the Kattur Balaji Nagar residence.

The video was taken by cell phone and shared by one of the WhatsApp group in the area. Thus the residents of Balaji Nagar are in great fear. City council officials have urged residents along the river and road users to be vigilant and report any crocodile movements to the forest department or fire department immediately.

While the snakes coming out of the stagnant rainwater are causing fear on one side, the crocodile's movement has caused panic among the people of the area.
