Ambur Biryani shop in Sothupakkam near Madurantakam in Chengalpattu district today announced an action offer and is selling. The whole biryani is sold by announcing that half a kilo of tomatoes is free if you buy two, as well as a free biryani per kilo of tomatoes.

The offer is made to emphasize that the reason for selling like this for one day only today is to encourage agriculture which is being destroyed by natural calamities. Now the price of tomatoes is higher day by day than the price of petrol and diesel.

The government should take action to control this. The shop owner said that if the price of tomatoes is to be reduced, all the people can reduce the price by doing home gardening.
