தமிழகத்தின் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் தொடரும் மழை

வடகிழக்கு பருவமழை தொடங்கிய நிலையில், சென்னை உள்பட தமிழகத்தின் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் பரவலாக மழை பெய்தது.

 

சென்னையில் கடந்த சில நாட்களாகவே விட்டுவிட்டு கனமழையும் லேசான மழையும் பெய்து வருகிறது. அந்த வகையில் சென்னையில் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் இரவில் மழை தொடர்ந்தது. திண்டுக்கல் மாவட்டம் பழனியில் தொடர் மழை காரணமாக கழிவுநீருடன் மழைநீர் கலந்து வீடுகளில் புகுந்தது. இதனால் சாலை மறியலில் ஈடுபட்ட மக்கள், கழிவுநீர் கால்வாயில்களை விரைந்து தூர்வார வேண்டும் என கோரிக்கை விடுத்தனர்.

 

தேனி மாவட்டம் பெரியகுளம் பகுதியில் 5 நாட்களுக்கு பிறகு கனமழை நீண்ட நேரம் பெய்த நிலையில், மக்களின் இயல்பு வாழ்க்கை பாதிக்கப்பட்டது. மேலும் இரவிலும் சாரல் மழை நீடித்தது. தஞ்சாவூர் மாவட்டம் கும்பகோணம் அருகே லேசான மழை பெய்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் போது மின்னல் தாக்கியதில் விவசாய பணியில் ஈடுபட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்த பெண் ஒருவர் உயிரிழந்தார். அரியலூர் அருகே தொடர் மழையால் கயர்லாபாத், சுண்டக்குடி ஆகிய பகுதிகளில் உள்ள தரைப்பாலங்கள் வெள்ளத்தில் மூழ்கின. இதனால் போக்குவரத்து பாதிக்கப்பட்டதால் அப்பகுதி மக்கள் சிரமமடைந்தனர்.
