மத்திய அரசால் பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட 4 தமிழக கோவில்களில் ஆக்கிரமிப்புகள்: மத்திய கலாச்சாரத்துறை-Occupancies in 4 Tamil Nadu temples protected by the Central Government: Central Department of Culture

காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள மாடம்பாக்கம் தேனுபுரீஸ்வரர் கோவில் திருச்சியில் உள்ள எறும்பீஸ்வரர் சுவாமி திருக்கோவில் உள்ளிட்ட மத்திய அரசால் பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட தளங்களாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட நான்கு கோவில்களில் ஆக்கிரமிப்பு புகார்கள் வந்துள்ளதாக மத்திய அரசு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

கோயில்களின் ஆக்கிரமிப்பு குறித்து நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் ஒருவர் எழுப்பிய கேள்விக்கு எழுத்துப்பூர்வமாக பதில் அளித்துள்ள மத்திய கலாச்சாரத்துறை அமைச்சகம், நாட்டில் 1097 புராதன இடங்கள் மத்திய அரசால் பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட இடங்கள் என அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது, இதில் நானூற்று நாற்பத்தி எட்டு கோயில்கள் உள்ளது என சுட்டிக்காட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இதில் தமிழகத்தில் 412 கோயில்கள் பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட இடங்களாக உள்ள நிலையில், காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள மாடம்பாக்கம் தேனுபுரீஸ்வரர் திருக்கோவில், காஞ்சிபுரத்தில் தென்னேரியிலுள்ள ஆபத்சஹோயேஸ்வரர் திருக்கோவில், திருச்சியிலுள்ள எறும்பீஸ்வரர் சுவாமி திருக்கோவில், தஞ்சாவூரில் உள்ள ஐராதீஸ்வரர் திருக்கோவில் ஆகியவை ஆக்கிரமிப்பு புகார்கள் வந்திருப்பதாகவும், சம்பந்தப்பட்ட ஆக்கிரமிப்பாளர்கள் உடனடியாக ஆக்கிரமிப்பு பகுதிகளை அகற்ற நோட்டீஸ் பிறப்பித்து, ஆக்கிரமிப்புகளை இடித்தல் போன்ற நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுக்கப்பட்டதாகவும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

The Central Government has received complaints of encroachment on four temples declared as protected sites by the Central Government, including the Madambakkam Thenupureeswarar Temple in Kanchipuram district and the Erumbeswarar Swami Temple in Trichy.

In a written reply to a question raised by a Member of Parliament regarding the occupation of temples, the Union Ministry of Culture has declared 1097 ancient sites in the country as protected by the Central Government, out of which there are four hundred and forty-eight temples.

Of these, 412 temples are protected in Tamil Nadu.

The Madambakkam Thenupuriswarar Temple in Kanchipuram district, the Apathasoyeswarar temple in the south of Kanchipuram, the Erumbeswarar Swami temple in Trichy and the Iratheeswarar temple in Thanjavur have been reported to have occupied the affected areas.
