சென்னை: 14 சுரங்கப் பாதைகளில் மழைநீர் முழுவதுமாக அகற்றம்

சென்னையில் பெய்துவரும் தொடர் கனமழை காரணமாக தாழ்வான பகுதிகளில் தேங்கிய மழைநீரை வெளியேற்றும் பணிகளில் சென்னை மாநகராட்சி ஈடுபட்டு வருகிறது.

 

சென்னை மாநகராட்சியில் மழைநீர் தேங்கிய 400 இடங்களில் 240 இடங்களில் முழுவதுமாக அகற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது. சென்னை மாநகராட்சி கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உள்ள 14 சுரங்கப் பாதைகளில் மழைநீர் முழுவதுமாக அகற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது. தி.நகர் மேட்லி சுரங்கப்பாதையில் மட்டும் பணிகள் தொடர்கிறது. தொடர்மழை காரணமாக சென்னையில் விழுந்த 116 மரங்களும் அகற்றப்பட்டுள்ளது.

பொதுமக்களிடமிருந்து பெறப்பட்ட 7180 புகார்களில் 3593 புகார்கள் மீது தீர்வு காணப்பட்டுள்ளன. மொத்தமுள்ள 61 முகாம்களில் 1343 பேர் தங்கியுள்ளனர். இன்று காலை வரை சென்னை மாநகராட்சி முழுவதும் 6,25,400 உணவு பொட்டலங்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

In Chennai Corporation, 240 out of 400 places where rainwater has accumulated have been completely removed. Rainwater has been completely removed from 14 tunnels under the control of the Chennai Corporation. Work is continuing only on the T. Nagar Madley tunnel. 116 fallen trees in Chennai have been removed due to continuous rains.

Out of 7180 complaints received from the public, 3593 complaints have been resolved. A total of 1343 people are staying in 61 camps. As of this morning, 6,25,400 food parcels have been distributed across the Chennai Corporation.
