திண்டுக்கல் அருகே மின்சாரம் தாக்கியதில் தந்தை மற்றும் 2 மகன்கள் பலியான நிலையில் 2 பேர் படுகாயமடைந்துள்ளனர்.

திண்டுக்கல் மாவட்டம் செட்டியபட்டி கிராமத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர் திருப்பதி. கூலி வேலை பார்த்து வரும் இவரது வீட்டுக்கு மேற்புரமாக மின்சார வயர் செல்கிறது. அதன் அருகே கம்பத்தில் துணிகளை காயப்போட இரும்பு கம்பியை கொண்டு கொடிகட்டி உள்ளார். இதனிடையே திண்டுக்கல் மற்றும் சுற்று வட்டார பகுதியில் நேற்று இரவு முதல் மழை பெய்து வருகிறது. இன்று காலை திருப்பதி குளித்துவிட்டு ஈரத்துண்டை வீட்டிற்கு வெளியே உள்ள இரும்பு கொடி கம்பியில் காய போட்டுள்ளார். அப்பொழுது மின்சாரம் தாக்கி திருப்பதி துடித்துள்ளார்.

இதனைப் பார்த்த அவரது மகன்கள் சந்தோஷ்குமார் (வயது15) விஜய்கணபதி (வயது 17) இருவரும் தந்தையை காப்பாற்ற சென்றுள்ளனர். அவர்களையும் மின்சாரம் தாக்கியுள்ளது. இச்சம்பவத்தை பார்த்த அருகில் உள்ள வீட்டில் வசித்துவரும் முருகன் அவரது மனைவி சூரியா 3 பேரையும் காப்பாற்ற சென்று உள்ளனர். அவர்களை மின்சாரம் தாக்கி உள்ளது. இந்நிலையில் திருப்பதி அவரது மகன்கள் சந்தோஷ்குமார், விஜய் கணபதி ஆகியோர் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே மின்சாரம் தாக்கி பரிதாபமாக உயிரிழந்தனர்.

காப்பாற்ற சென்ற முருகன் மற்றும் அவரது மனைவி சூர்யா படுகாயமடைந்து திண்டுக்கல் அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் சிகிச்சைக்காக சேர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். இச்சம்பவம் குறித்து போலீசார் வழக்கு பதிவு செய்து விசாரணை செய்து வருகின்றனர். ஒரே குடும்பத்தைச் சேர்ந்த 3 பேர் பரிதாபமாக உயிரிழந்த சம்பவம் அந்த கிராமத்தில் சோகத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

A father and two sons were killed and two others were injured in an electric shock near Dindigul.
