காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்டத்தில் அதிமுக சார்பில் போட்டியிடும் வேட்பாளர்கள் மற்றும் நிர்வாகிகளுடன், எடப்பாடி பழனிசாமி பங்கேற்ற ஆலோசனைக் கூட்டம் நடைபெற்றது. இதில் பேசிய அவர், ஏதாவது ஒரு காரணத்தைக் கூறி அதிமுகவினர் வேட்புமனுக்களை நிராகரிக்கும் அதிகாரிகள் மீது தேர்தல் ஆணையம் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கவேண்டும் என கோரிக்கை விடுத்தார்.
நகைக்கடன் தள்ளுபடி விவகாரத்தில், அதிமுக ஆட்சியில் ஒரே குடும்பத்தில் பலரும் நகைகளை அடமானம் வைத்த காரணத்தினால் தான் தவறு நடந்துள்ளதாக தவறான தகவல்களை முதலமைச்சர் வெளியிட்டு வருவதாகவும் கூறியுள்ளார். மேலும் திமுக ஆட்சியில் குற்றங்கள் அதிகரித்து வருவதாகவும் அவர் குற்றம்சாட்டினார்.

AIADMK co-coordinator Edappadi Palanisamy has accused the AIADMK of deliberately rejecting the candidature of candidates in the local body elections.
A consultative meeting was held with AIADMK candidates and executives in Kanchipuram district with the participation of Edappadi Palanisamy. He demanded that the Election Commission take action against the officials who rejected the AIADMK nominations for any reason.
In the case of the jewelery loan waiver, the Chief Minister has said that the AIADMK government has been publishing false information that the mistake was made because many members of the same family had mortgaged the jewelery. He also blamed the DMK regime for the rise in crime.
