காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்டம் குன்றத்தூர் அருகே உள்ளாட்சித் தேர்தல் பரப்புரைக்குச் சென்ற மக்கள் நீதி மய்யம் கட்சியின் தலைவர் கமல்ஹாசனிடம், அப்பகுதியில் குப்பைகள் முறையாக அகற்றப்படுவதில்லை என பொதுமக்கள் புகார் தெரிவித்தனர்.
மக்கள் நீதி மய்ய வேட்பாளர்களை ஆதரித்து, குன்றத்தூர் ஒன்றியத்திற்குட்பட்ட மவுலிவாக்கம், பரணிபுத்தூர் பகுதிகளில் வாக்கு சேகரிப்பில் ஈடுபட்ட கமல்ஹாசன், திடீரென பரணிபுத்தூர் பகுதி சுடுகாட்டில் உள்ள குப்பை கொட்டும் இடத்திற்குச் சென்றார். அப்போது, குப்பைகள் முறையாக அகற்றப்படுவதில்லை என புகார் தெரிவித்த அப்பகுதி மக்களிடம், மக்கள் பணியை முறையாகச் செய்தால் ஆட்சியாளர்களின் வருமானம் போய்விடும் என்று கமல்ஹாசன் கூறினார்.
