சாதிய மோதல்களை உருவாக்கி உள்ளாட்சி தேர்தலில் குழப்பம் ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையில் தவறான தகவல்களை பரப்புவோர் மீது நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கக்கோரி திமுக பிரமுகர் கார்த்திகேய சிவசேனாபதி டிஜிபியிடம் புகார் அளித்துள்ளார்.
திருப்பூர் மாவட்டம் காங்கேயத்தைச் சேர்ந்த கார்த்திகேய சிவசேனாபதி, திமுக சுற்றுச்சூழல் அணியின் மாநில செயலாளராக பொறுப்பு வகிக்கிறார். கடந்த இரண்டு நாட்களாக கார்த்திகேய சிவசேனாபதியின் மகள் குறித்து தவறான தகவல்கள் சமூக வலைதளங்களில் பரப்பப்பட்டதால், சென்னையில் தமிழக காவல்துறை டிஜிபி சைலந்திரபாபுவை சந்தித்து அவர் புகார் அளித்தார். அதில், தமது குடும்பத்துக்கு அவப்பெயர் ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையிலும், தங்கள் பகுதியில் இரு சமூகத்திற்கு இடையே வன்முறையை தூண்டும் வகையிலும் சிலர் தொடர்ந்து சமூக வலைதளங்களில் தவறான தகவல்களை பரப்புவதாக குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். உள்ளாட்சி தேர்தல் நேரத்தில் சாதி, மத ரீதியான தகவலை பரப்பி மோதலை உருவாக்க சிலர் முயற்சிப்பதாக கார்த்திகேய சிவசேனாபதி குற்றம்சாட்டியுள்ளார்.
