மருத்துவ சிகிச்சைக்காக பேரறிவாளனுக்கு மேலும் 30நாட்கள் பரோல் நீட்டிப்பு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
முன்னாள் பிரதமர் ராஜீவ்காந்தி கொலை வழக்கில் கைதாகி சிறையில் இருந்த பேரறிவாளனுக்கு, மருத்துவ சிகிச்சை பெறுவதற்காக 90 நாட்கள் பரோலில் விடுவிக்குமாறு அவரது தாயார் அற்புதம்மாள் கோரிக்கை விடுத்திருந்தார். அதனை ஏற்று, கடந்த மே மாதம் 28ஆம் தேதி ஒரு மாதம் மட்டும் பரோல் விடுப்பு வழங்கப்பட்டது.
இதையடுத்து ஜோலர்பேட்டையில் உள்ள வீட்டில் தங்கியுள்ள பேரறிவாளன் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருகிறார்.
தொடர் மருத்துவ சிகிச்சையின் காரணமாக, அவருக்கு கடந்த ஜூன், ஜூலை மற்றும் ஆகஸ்ட் மாதங்களில் பரோல் நீட்டிப்பு செய்யப்பட்டது. இந்த நிலையில், அறுவை சிகிச்சைக்காக பேரறிவாளனுக்கு மேலும் ஒரு மாதம் பரோல் நீட்டிப்பு செய்து தமிழக அரசு உத்தரவு பிறப்பித்துள்ளது.

Perarivalan has been given another 30 days extension of parole for medical treatment.
Perarivalan, who was arrested and jailed in connection with the assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, was demanded by his mother Arpudammal to be released on 90 days parole for medical treatment.
Accepting it, he was granted parole for one month only on May 28 last. Following this, Perarivalan, who is staying at his home in Jolarpettai, is receiving treatment.
Due to a series of medical treatments, his parole was extended last June, July and August. In this situation, the Tamil Nadu government has issued an order extending the parole of Perarivalan for another month for surgery.
