Karnataka country IT/ITeS personnel Union (KITU) has said that Byju's is shedding personnel in its Bengaluru headquarters.
KITU Secretary Sooraj Nidiyanga informed the media that personnel at Baiju's are reluctant to resign but are being compelled. The HR department is indulging in getting resignations forcefully from personnel.
He also said that there is no written communique regarding layoffs from the company.
For the past one week, the HR department has been calling personnel and asking them to post their resignations voluntarily.
After huge layoffs attracted media interest and terminated personnel met Kerala Labour Minister Shivankutty, Byju's control crew in its Thiruvananthapuram workplace presented transfer alternatives to them.
