தமிழக போக்குவரத்துத்துறையின் புதிய ஆணையராக எஸ்.நடராஜன் நியமனம்- new Commissioner of the Tamil Nadu Transport Department

தமிழக போக்குவரத்துத்துறை ஆணையராக இருந்த சந்தோஷ் கே.மிஸ்ரா விருப்ப ஓய்வு பெற்றதை தொடர்ந்து, புதிய ஆணையராக போக்குவரத்துத்துறை சிறப்பு செயலாளர் எஸ்.நடராஜன் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

அதிமுக ஆட்சிக்காலத்தில் தமிழ்நாடு மின் ஆளுமை முகமையின் ஆணையராக இருந்த சந்தோஷ் கே மிஸ்ரா, ஆட்சி மாற்றத்துக்குப்பின் தமிழக போக்குவரத்துத்துறை ஆணையராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். இந்நிலையில், அவர் சொந்த காரணங்களுக்காக விருப்ப ஓய்வு கேட்ட நிலையில், அவருக்கு விருப்ப ஓய்வு அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்நிலையில், போக்குவரத்துத்துறையின் புதிய ஆணையராக, அத்துறையில் சிறப்பு செயலராக இருந்த எஸ்.நடராஜனை நியமித்து தமிழக தலைமைச் செயலர் வெ.இறையன்பு உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.

உத்தரபிரதேச மாநிலம் கான்பூரைச் சேர்ந்த சந்தோஷ் கே மிஸ்ரா, 2000ம் ஆண்டு நேரடி ஐஏஎஸ் அதிகாரியாவார். கான்பூர் ஐஐடியில் பிடெக், அமெரிக்காவின் மினிசோட்டா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் எம்எஸ் பட்டம் பயின்ற அவர், சிறிது காலம் சட்டிஸ்கர் மாநிலத்தில் பணியாற்றினார். அதன்பின் மீண்டும் தமிழகப்பணிக்கு வந்த அவர், நுகர்பொருள் வாணிபக்கழகம் மேலாண் இயக்குனர் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு பணியிடங்களில் நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தார். இறுதியாக போக்குவரத்துத்துறை ஆணையராக இருந்த நிலையில், தற்போது சொந்த காரணங்களுக்காக விருப்ப ஓய்வில் சென்றுள்ளதாக அரசு வட்டாரங்கள் தெரிவித்தன.

முன்னதாக தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பத்துறையின் செயலராக இருந்த சந்தோஷ் பாபு, அதிமுக ஆட்சிக்காலத்தில் விருப்ப ஓய்வில் சென்றது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Santosh K Misra, who was the Commissioner of the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency during the AIADMK regime, was appointed as the Tamil Nadu Transport Commissioner after the change of government. In this case, he was allowed voluntary retirement as he had asked for voluntary retirement for personal reasons. In this situation, the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu V. Irayanpu has appointed S. Natarajan as the new Commissioner of the Transport Department and the Special Secretary of the Department.

Santosh K Misra, a native of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, was a direct IAS officer in 2000. He holds an BTech from IIT Kanpur and an MS from the University of Minnesota, USA. He worked in Chhattisgarh for some time. He then returned to Tamil Nadu and was appointed to various posts including Managing Director of the Consumer Goods Corporation. Government sources said that he has finally gone on voluntary retirement for personal reasons as he was finally the Transport Commissioner.

It is noteworthy that Santosh Babu, a former IT secretary, went on voluntary retirement during the AIADMK regime.
